I drive a school bus and today I asked this senior girl if whe was going to college and she said yes, Lee college in Cleveland, TN.  I knew this to be a Church of God college and I asked her if she loved Jesus and she said "with all my heart".  She is going to study religion.  I just wanted people to know that there are a few teenagers out their that are not ashamed to speak their true feelings.

We need more young people that love Jesus with all their heart speaking out.  When she told me that it just made my heart feel better..

Villham, thanks for sharing that....I teach school and my students are always eager to discuss their faith and talk about the God and His Son....of course, because I am a teacher, there is very little that I can say and it's frustrating because they want me to talk with them and share my faith. There are more than a few- at least at my school- there are a LOT of teenagers who are not afraid of the Gospel, and I, for one, think it is an amazing.....

I know there are far my outstanding young people out there then most of us know, it's just that the bad apple get all the press. We only here about the horrible things that go on and not enough about the good and simply nice things young people do everyday. I was touched to read this, thanks for sharing

You know I used to say that I did't like to toot my horn but really I do so hear go's.My kids are really 2 outstanding young people, and that's saying a lot to be seed of my seed. The reason I say this is my son is into wrestling and body building and my daughter is so into church and her youth group that they barely have time to do anything else.both my kids 14 and 15 have told me that they are not interested in other things like drugs and alcohol or sex(some are the things that snared me when I was that age)so that makes me feel great.and also the fact that I do not have to worry about their eternal soul's makes me feel even better.Despite the break up of their Mother and I,I have to say that I have 1 outstanding young man and 1 outstanding young woman and I am very proud of them.

noshamejamezz:

It makes my heart feel very good to hear a parent testifying about how good their children are. I retired in 2001, and I can get by on my three retirement checks, but I drive a school bus and substitute teach and I love it. I enjoy being around children, but I am sure you have seen it; they way the majority of young people dress, act, talk and just "hang-out". If they are making a statement it is how stupid and lost they are.
I would say that 75% of the young girls wear tops that show a large portion of their breast and wear the revealing shorts. I would just die if I saw a daughter of mine dress the way a lots of them do in this time that we are nearing the COMING of the LORD! A lots of them grow up and have never been taught the right thing: Morals, Honesty, Respect for authoritiy, to love Jesus as he will lead you the right way, and most importantly, respect for themselves and their parents. Parents don't TAKE the time to see where their children are headed until its too late

Yeah buddy I know, sometimes I'll have to get my son to pull his pants up some but I can understand that. That is the thing these day's but he's not running around with them down around his butt like most.and something else that will probably shock you, they both say Mam & Sir which also seems to have gone to pots.So I think their mother and I are doing a pretty good job.It just burns me up when I hear a parent call their child and the child yells WHAT!!!!!
