you, kaine, sure delete often on your blog regarding HSBC.  you speak of your right to question, yet you do not like to be questioned yourself.

ok, kaine says i am bitter because i had persisted in asking my questions which he would never answer ... not bitter, just persistent ;-)

*****************************************

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin'." I'm whispering "I was lost Now I'm found and forgiven."

When I say.. "I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak And need His strength to carry on.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed And need God to clean my mess.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect, My flaws are far too visible But, God believes I am worth it.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches So I call upon His name.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not holier than thou, I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow.

don't know who wrote this, would be glad to give credit to the author otherwise - 'tis beautiful, eh ?

verbally spanked ? it must have been extremely "light", kaine, i never ever felt it; just shows you how perceptions are so different. you feel like you hit a bullseye ... i never noticed. not starting a war - only your perception again. you said it's great to have your own empire; i'm just testing that out.

Get up from the computer and go outside. It is a beautiful day.

Listen, I understand what you are trying to say. You believe that I am some jerk who tells other people how they should live while I do whatever I want, basically a hypocrite.

I assure you that is not the case. I chose not to list anything I am a part of because I am not moderate. I take sides. People either like me or hate me. There is very little grey area there. I don't want people who dislike me to ignore a charity or program just because I endorsed it.

I also don't want people thinking that I am listing all the good things I do as if to say "Hey look at me everybody!! Look how much I matter." No one likes those guys. I don't want to be like that.

I am a critic of many churches, but not because I hate them. It is because I love them. I honestly believe that if you really knew me and knew what I am about you would not hold me in such contempt.

In fact, you might even find me to be quite friendly and sociable.

kaine, i have been in and out all day - assuredly it is a gorgeous day, and i am still enjoying it. All you have to do is answer my questions: 1) have you started similar programs in your own Church that you addressed in your letter to HSBC, 2) if you are not a member of a Church, would you consider joining HSBC, becoming a finance committee member or some type of program planning committee member & pursue these programs ? 3) have you ever spearheaded any program at any Church, and have they been successful?

tj, you are generalizing; and I cannot comment because i have never visited this Church; i'm sure it is like mine, full of sinners trying to live the best they can in furthering God's kingdom and take care of their brothers.

and, kaine, you are so very far off the mark that i just have to question your judgments - i am not calling you a hypocrite, a jerk, unfriendly, unsociable or boastful. if you are one of those people that can dish it out, but not take it ... consider not bashing churches, it you love them act like it. i brought that up in a previous post you deleted; the church may respond if you didn't bash/attack - who wants to open a dialouge with such a person? i do not feel contempt for you. some things are just so simple, people don't get it ... i am just trying to understand. there are times when debate has lead to deeper understanding, or even been persuasive enough to change another's opinion. don't give up.

Jesus and Satan were having an on-going argument about who was better
on the computer. They had been going at it for days, and frankly God was
tired of hearing all the bickering.

Finally fed up, God said, 'THAT'S IT! I have had enough. I am going to
set up a test that will run for two hours, and from those results, I will
judge who does the better job.'

So Satan and Jesus sat down at the keyboards and typed away.

They moused.

They faxed.

They e-mailed.

They e-mailed with attachments.

They downloaded.

They did spreadsheets!

They wrote reports.

They created labels and cards.

They created charts and graphs.

They did some genealogy reports

They did every job known to man.

Jesus worked with heavenly efficiency and Satan was faster than hell.

Then, ten minutes before their time was up, lightning suddenly flashed
across the sky, thunder rolled, rain poured, and, of course, the power
went off.

Satan stared at his blank screen and screamed every curse word known
in the underworld.

Jesus just sighed.

Finally the electricity came back on, and each of them restarted their
computers. Satan started searching frantically, screaming:

'It's gone! It's all GONE! 'I lost everything when the power went
out!'

Meanwhile, Jesus quietly started printing out all of his files from
the past two hours of work.

Satan observed this and became irate.

'Wait!' he screamed. 'That's not fair! He cheated! How come he has all
his work and I don't have any?'

God just shrugged

(continued - oops, ran out of room)

God just shrugged and said,

Jesus Saves

What?

If you would read my replies instead of deleting them you might understand what I said which you clearly don't. Why are you deleting everyone elses replies here? Fear?

I only deleted two of yours, which were pointless, so are we not even now?

As for your 3 questions, I am not going to answer. I owe you no explaination for anything.

I would have at first, but now I think you are a total BLEEP and I am going to avoid any further interaction with you.

God bless your husband. I could learn a lot about patience from a man like that.

tj, you cannot be commenting about me deleting your posts as I haven't deleted anything you posted (maybe you need to refresh?).

and, kaine, i haven't been notified that anyone other than you & tj have replied - so you are wrong also. true, you don't owe me anything; i'm sure i already know the answers though. you never had any intention of answering even at first as you state, or you would have done so at first.

i don't get why people have an open public blog & evade questions posted by hiding behind how their agenda would not be furthered by perceptions the readers might come away with.

i don't have a husband, kaine, and God did bless Him; matter of fact, he is with God now; and yes, you could have learned a LOT from him.

from someone that "loves" churches, i wonder what kind you attend that teaches you to call women such names ...

May God Bless & Keep You

southerngold:

This is from VILLHAM: you asked to see katie101's comment:

Here is katie101's comment to my blog:

Villham, my friend, thanks for answering the question in my head because the blog, before it is opened, says it has 22 comments; yet when I open it, it says only 9 comments. My logic is if someone doesn't want to be disagreed with, don't post a blog. To delete comments only makes one seem unable to deal with someone thinking differently than they do.

I wrote the following just now: And is to you about what this deviant said in her orginial blog: This is just part of it.

What that deviant is referring to is found in Psalms 68.4 it reads:

"Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name Jah, and rejoice before him." This word is only found in the whole Bible one time and the word "GOD" is found 3876 times (that is within a few numbers + or _ a few.

In the very center of the earth is a core of molten iron. It spins. That is what creates the earth's magnetic field which protects us from extremely dangerous levels of solar radiation.

I have never been to the center of the earth.
