Being born and raised in Alabama, I can't see how anyone celebrating the Fourth of July without fireworks. I have trouble seeing anyone celebrating a baby dedication without fireworks. That might just be me. What do you think?

Will you celebrate the Fourth Of July with fireworks?

Leave a comment on whether or not you will be utilizing works of the fire-type for the Fourth of July. Your comment could make it onto FOX6 News.

Same for me. I think it's a waste of money for about 5 seconds of fun. I could use my money for more important things. Besides I have no one small enough in my house to enjoy them with.

I think based on the responses above that the question may have been slightly ambiguous. I'm not buying any to celebrate with, but there will certainly be fireworks in my celebration - Thunder on the Mountain!

Ditto. The money I would have normally used to purchase fireworks will have to be used to compensate for the high fuel costs I am incurring because the government doesn't have the clout to do anything about it! I also burned down a hay barn with one black cat when I was 14 yrs. old. There were 800 bales of hay in the barn. It burned for 2 days. The fire department couldn't put it out. Since then I haven't played with fireworks.

Nope. I can't afford fireworks.
Even if I bought a few, it wouldn't be enough to do anything with :-(

No, we will not have any fireworks this year thanks to rising food and gas prices. This ridiculous price hike is totally outrageous.

How far did you have to dig to think up this topic? Stop grasping at straws and ask real questions and leave these powder puff blogs to the new hires who don't have a clue about this city.

YES!!!!!!! My family and I will be celebrating the 4th with fireworks, awsome BBQ and beer for the grownups and coke for the people under 21. Its a tradition. We have to. but as my kids get older the honor of buying fireworks has passed from my husband and myself to the children, and they have been saving since January. Nothing says Happy Independence Day like keeping the neighbors awake till after midnight. With loud bangs pops and crackls. So this year the hubby and I get to sit back and watch the fireworks and enjoy them.
