Trust does factor in when deciding a candidate...usually in very small doses. So who do you think has the most?

Which candidate do you think is the most trustworthy?

The honest answer is Ron Paul. Some of his ideas scare the hell out of me while others are spot on. I may not agree with Ron Paul on several things, but I at least believe he is being honest with us about who he is and what he believes.

I know he has no chance, but as far as who is the most trustworthy, I think Ron Paul.

Trustworthy politicians. An oxymoron.

Well I would trust Hillary about as far as she could throw Bill. I've followed her too close.

As far as empty suit rock star Bambi goes, I've been unsuccessful in determining anything I would trust him with.
Just maybe in taking my garbage out if I gave him written instructions and an escort.

I can't imagine either of those two sitting in the Oval Office making decisions for this country. Close your eyes and try to picture it. It's scary isn't it?

Maybe Ron could be trusted but I know little of him.

That leaves the only option, John McCain.
I would trust him in defending our country but I'm not too sure about some social problems. I don't know if he is conservative enough.
Since the defense of our country is number one for me, I say it's John standing a mile above the other two as being trustworthy.

President John McCain...........

His lack of conservative views and action is what concerns me about McCain.

Me too. Me too.

Of course most of us already know we will vote for John McCain. We simply can't put a socialist in the White House and keep a clean conscience, at least I can't.

I would have prefered Mit Romney, but Mit Romney is still reasonably young. He may get his chance in due time. Ronald Reagan lost the primary his first try, as a republican governor. He tried again and won it, then the presidency.

Now Mit Romney loses the primary as a republican governor. Will he win it next time? I have seen this scenario play out before and last time we got an awesome president (Ronaldus Magnus) when we really needed one.

Then again, we had to live through Jimmy Carter first. :(

Romney was the one I voted for and as you say Martin, he will have another chance.

I hope in 2012 since I doubt McCain will want a second term.

I'm still wondering about McCain's VP selection.
Any good guesses?

This is gonna be a tough one cause none of those 3 are fit to be President, and that's coming from a Democrat.

I have never known a honest politican. They will lie to you and expect you to believe all the BS they put out. They go into office running for the next term. Damn the people that are paying for all the outlandish spending and salarly + benefits.
