The Wright controversy keeps coming back to haunt Senator Obama. Do you think he's over it or is it still getting to him?

Has Barack Obama put the Reverend Wright controversy behind him?

Leave a comment and let us know what you the Barack Obama is feeling about his former pastor. Your comment could make it onto FOX6 News.

It is hard to believe that a person can sit and listen to racist, hateful speech for 20 years and not be affected by it. The only reason Obama is denouncing Wright now is because Wright went so public with his views. I think it's a little too late; the damage has been done. Almost overnight this man has become the most hated man in America, and in my opinion, with just cause.

I agree with Katie101. My thoughts all along, concerning Senator Obama, are coming to a head. Because of the frequent questions presented to Obama about saluting the American flag, his patriotism, and religious beliefs, I am really concerned that his love for this country and what it stands for is not genuine because of the negative influences he had growing up, such as Reverend Wright.

Rev. Wright didn't just change over night this is the same man Obama claimed to be his spiritual advisor and friend for 20 years. Rev. Wright said Obama will say what he have to say to get the peoples vote. I don't think Obama can beat John McCain. The Rev. Wright issue will never go away.

For the record, I don't think I said that Wright changed overnight. I think I said he became the most hated man in America overnight....just wanted to clarify......

Too little, too late. It has now become convenient and politically expedient to distance himself. I think that if it was paying off for Obama to continue to be associated with Wright, he'd have done so. It's politics - right, wrong or otherwise, politicians will do anything to get elected... and what do they all want upon election? A second term.

That dude is nuttier than a squirrel turd, and he is not a man of God.as A matter of fact the Bible is very clear and speaks of people like this when it say's Not everyone that say's unto me Lord,Lord shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Those words are in red so Jesus himself said that.

1 John 4:1
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

also remember that the Lord also said they be false prophets and preachers who'd say they of God but they really are not.
wright reminds me of jesse jackson the fire and passion not to save folks for God but to start trouble so he be in the news Al sharpton is the same way. instaed of a reverend preaching God and helping the poor they want to start trouble.
