Well, it is hyprocisy in its rarest form, is it not

The Democrats are jumping on a pregnant teenage girl because her mom is gonna run on the Republican ticket for Vice President of the free thinking United States.  I am like any mother that has daughters, hoping that they would follow the RULES and be a virgin when married, dont have babies out of wedlock, marry the right guy and "yes mam and no sir "parents to no end, but these children of ours come to a time when they have to make decisions on emotions, situations and yes desires that they probably are not ready to handle.

But, even the best intended parents have to know that all the preaching and teaching in world is still a toss up when it comes to moments of decision when you have let things get too far.

Look at Bill Clinton.   He wasnt no teenager. Bless His heart.  Was his raising at fault, He wasnt  caring what it would do to our country..  He was supposed to be the example for our country.   So did he do good or what with right decisions.   If I remember correctly, it was a private affair and should not affect our country and his ability to make national decisions concerning all of us. That is what the Democrats said.  They need to now, just as then, shut up and let the girl and her family deal with this.  It is their problem and if we want to get hung up on examples and what it will do to our country we all need to back up and do some remembering.

If mistakes of any child caused the parents to be deemed at fault and not capable of making any more decisions then who in the country would be able to run for any office.

They need to harp on something that might make a major difference.

The way the world is becoming so "politically correct"  soon any convicted person will be "let out" until they appeal their case.   What is wrong with us?  Let him stay in and appeal like everyone else does.  What makes him so special.   He was convicted.

I was given an address at work for recovering American Soldiers at Walter Reed Hospital.  Since I had sent them some books before, I made 6 cards and wrote a poem about our soldiers for each one and put on the postage and my return address.   There are 6 people in my dept at work and each one addressed the envelope to Walter Reed Army Med Center  at 6900 Georgia Ave, NW in Washington DC 20307-5001  and then signed their name on back so they could show their love.   Today, I have all of them back at home because they were refused.   Did I have the wrong address.  Does anyone know why this happened.   Can you help me?   That sure was a lot of work and waste of ink and paper and postage and writing .   Will appreciate some info.   Thanks.

I saw the interview with the father of the baby that was in a stolen truck.  The father left the baby in the truck and was in with the mother at her job he said for 10 minutes.  He comes out and the truck and (the baby) were gone.

Thank God they found her.   The father said he learned a lesson.

Don't leave your keys in the truck. It dont take but a few minutes.    WHAT ABOUT DONT LEAVE THE BABY IN THE TRUCK.  GOOD GRIEF.   YOU LEARNED THE WRONG LESSON, BUDDY

it is amazing that Paris Hilton's parents are upset.. obviously for the wrong reason.  Their wild daughter that is defying the law because of who she is-- is being singled out for who she is.   She has singled herself out.   Mom and dad ought to be upset for what they have allowed..   Money is not the answer to everything.    God said that.   She should have been taught that.   I think its time she is showed that she cannot get away with what other people have to anser for.   Did they teach her that money was her answer always.    too sad.

The story today of a mother losing her life but her baby is left for someone to raise is a grim reminder that something has to wake us up. People have got to learn to settle problems with something besides guns and knives. Does everybody walking the streets have one or the other on them?
Are we going to become housebound afraid to leave it? There has to be a sensible way to change the thinking of our citizens. Man, we just cant kill because it seems the thing to do. God help us all.

What in the world has happened to respect for law and authority in our state. People so brave as to defy supreme court rulings over everything we dont like regardless of moral values and responsibility? Why keep pushing and pushing when they keep losing and losing. How in the world does this speak for us?
Someone gonna have their way regardless of what our supreme court rules? Are we on the way to writing our own laws no matter what? Very perplexed.

Yesterday afternoon I was going home on Rex Lake Rd in Leeds and there was a beautiful golden retriever possibly mixed with Irish setter in the middle of the road. It was obvious from the dog's behavior some one had put it out and it was waiting for them to come back. I pulled over at Bailey rd and called it to my car to keep it from getting hit. The nagging feeling that maybe it belonged to someone close and the fact that I have 4 dogs caused me to leave it and go on home. Wishing all the way I had taken it. This morning I took dog food with me to feed it if it was still there. It was still there. But, DEAD. Some one hit it and it was laying on the side of the road. I am mad. That is like taking a child and leaving it. You could tell the dog was waiting for whomever had left it. WHY? Why did it have to be left to die like that? I hope that the person responsible cant stand it until they have to go back and at least bury it. It deserves more than just to lay on the side of the road abandoned.

Oh my gosh, at my age, I am finding out that there are men who still think women are stupid and confused. It came from Guaranty Pest Control Executive Vice President.

All I am going to do is type in the first line of a reply from him as to why (because of anger) I have not paid my bill.

here is his first line that really made me want to read farther.

He is sorry that I am a confused woman. How sexist is that.

Ladies watch out who you do business with.

Thanks for your comments. We do need to instill the idealism in our youth and our children. It must begin with us and show them what has had to take place for our freedom. Fighting in other countries to keep it from our own. God Bless America and please salute the Veterans. They deserve it.

Freedom Must Be Saved

Terror has visited our nation
And has temporarily stifled our breath
Time has to be taken for reflection
As we deal with the destruction and the death
We have to shore up our borders
We must rally our enemy to meet
To let him know in every way that we can
His hand will not cause us defeat
Spirits have been awakened in us
That America has hidden so deep
The people of this grand and proud Nation

Power of Memories

I look at the faces and read all the names
Of our perished people riding hijacked planes
I realize cruel hearts have left behind a token
That has caused Americas heart to be broken
Our people were used in such a horrible way
That cowardly people have captured the day
Our lives are so changed and forever will be
But, the memory of these faces will keep us free
In their being a part of such a horrific thing
Reminds us the bells of liberty still ring
Determination to keep them ringing still
Along with memories and America's strong will
This country will rise and continue to stand
United and guided by God's mighty hand
Prayers for victims and families will heal the grief
