in the beginning god created man;but lately man has been creating ;defining god.i have heard from several people and on tv as some will say god made a mistake he should have been a she and vice-versa and god is a god of love and if your over 40 you have heard that and more but this younger generation has been lied to .
thru the school system and movies and others to make god less important and us more able to judge and do as we please ..i read somewhere that for a rich man to go to heaven it was like a camel thru the eye of a needle,not that a rich man could not go but it was harder.
i think metafoicly it can be as baggage and we came into this world with nothing and we take nothing with us.back to god of love i also read the way of the world is wide and the righteous is narrow.
i put this down to point out as the priest and the catholic churchs arguments and their split on homosexuality.i know in the past or 30 years ago this would not have happened ;is time watering down religion?i know lately your not hearing the word as it was told more churches have gotten away from the old time preaching fire an brimstone talk.
even some pastors say it to preach that way some members leave;but if your responsible for the flock;you will have salt it in there so to be as commanded.i think that the churches should have one old day of overalls an fire an brimstone preaching as their grandfathers preached ;religion is not a shoe it has to suit you .
i guess i was saying the old ways are best but your going to have smaller churches,but the closer to god you get the better it is .i sometimes wonder why some people go to church.i mean there was a man that drove a beer truck but he could not join the church till he found anouther job;but that was a church of god and their rules are more strict on lifstyles back then;i get the impression today it is the good feeling preaching and numbers that make up a church;i'm not nocking churches only as i see and hear on the news your church may not be like this but in other states;for instance the reverend wright thing ..
in many of the churches i have been in and on tv you never get far from the bible and if i read it right it doesn't have one word hillary or clinton in my whole bible..i know jesus used simple ways to preach in parables to be more understood by uneducated folks but never naming or condeming a person only saying wages of sin is death.
i'm not a preacher as most can tell but have time to put down words hopefully some can agree others may think more as to what church is about worshiping god period...but nowadays some say eat drink and be merry or even more eat drink and sleep with mary but the bible as i was taught is complete never livening on one book or page..
as i watch tv and realized how much calmity was going on all i had thought about as you read my blogs was riseing gas prices;but the clyclone in brahma and now the earthquake in china puts things just more in to the last days of the bible not global warming as had first been stated it really hit home "there will be wars and rumor of wars and floods and famin in diverse places"and when will you be comming back my lord give us a sign he said in so much was just look at the tv now adays floods famin ;tornadoes ;war and iran could we need more information than this?i mean come on it has to ring your bell as you hear all these things actually happening ,well it doesn't take a genius to put the two togeather;the news of today and my bible last days predictions and it would seem to make a good case in any court .so we may need to get serious with our prayer and reverend wright about his preaching ;i feel that politics is best left out of church and focus only on god.just my way of thinking you start talking politics and it can get most riled up angrey and that puts it in the wrong context for church ,so get up or more specificaly get down on your knees and we can get things better but only in our hearts the rest of the world is still going to be the same;ie, floods;famin,war,rumours of war because it has to be as it was so predicted in the bible,so i don't see how we can get around it ,i ain't saying obama gets shot dies comes back to life and brings great peace and you know the rest .i had to say just to wake you up as some are numb to what is and what is to be,we can't have heaven on earth as we have had in this country for so long as almost all war is in other countries as well as living like the israelies do with a bomb shelter in your home and have rockets at any time raining down on you so yes i can say we have had a pretty rosey time in the last few years but the bible has to be fulfilled and all good thigs come to pass so as our relatives in heaven look at how we act in these last days stand up as we know we will be with them soon!i know we was hoping to see our kids graduate get married and see those grandkids but we ain't got that kind of time now do we?
what if you woke up one one morning and noticed gas was 30 cents a gallon?and as we the normal non oil connected profit making price setting ...were so perplexed as to why all of a sudden things were right so we ask service station workers and the best answer they could give was "at sometime during the nite god came back and took some of the opec ,oil speculators and showed them a new place that was hot an dry but no oil and they made a big change as they found out the real important things in life were not in this world but laying your treasures up for the next"so this morning we came in and all the prices were being set and as fast as gas went up it actually went down! i wonder if instead of wishful thinking this could happen if we all prayed as a whole nation;oh i have thought of other things like taking vacations and stay home with the wife an kids as well as not buying gas for a whole week the not buying gas for a week being a big part of the plan next we do all this at the same time could we do such a simple thing as a nation?just one week well i do stay home as i am disabled but i know others that may not be christians and others that just would not pray for honest gas prices and honest politicians;as that is their right in this country but we could as a country get togeather on not buying gas or diesel for one week each pick one day to fill up in two weeks prior to the non buying week and then on such an such day no one at gas stations buying gas ,as well as off the streets wow would that be something?seems too simple so easy to do don't you think?i have a hard time with this as faith or fairy tale;i was leaning to faith but others may have a different opinion.
