Let's Talk to the Iranians

A Tehran newspaper has been shut down by Iranian government officials, as reported by the official IRNA news agency on Sunday.  Apparently, the paper published a story critical of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's stance on Israel.  Ahmadinejad, one of the masterminds and leaders of the seizure of the US Embassy in 1979, consequently claims that the holocaust was a "myth".

We have people, Americans, who believe that we can sit down and have civilized dialog with this government.  I would suggest that it is virtually impossible to have a conversation with someone who will not admit a historical fact.  Millions of people were killed in this atrocity called the holocaust; to deny that it happened is absurd.

Further, to shut down a media outlet because they are critical of you, regardless of your position, is demonstrative of the fact that you are insecure with who you are and what you are doing.  The most absurd thing is to think that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad cares anything at all about what we say.

The man is evil.  That's not a religiously biased statement, nor is it an ethnically biased statement.  It is my opinion based on his actions.  I'd submit that there's enough evidence to qualify it as a fact.

I do not know that talking is a good idea, well have we tryed that already like japan and germany in WWII and iraq recentlly.

This doesn't surprise me a bit. Some time last year a retarded girl was hung to death because she had premarital sex with a man. The man had raped her, but because of her retardation she was unable to tell him to stop.

They decided she was to blame and killed her. This case was especially sick because of her condition, but public executions of this nature, for what we consider minor sins like having sex out of wedlock, are not uncommon in Persia (Iran).

How do you negotiate with that?

You lose, that's how. Whenever you negotiate with evil, evil always wins. Evil doesn't compromise, you have to compromise in order to negotiate with it. Evil doesn't change, it changes you.

Oh, and my grandmother is Jewish. She and her family came here when she was very young from Russia. She ended up marrying my grandfather, a German immigrant. lol Odd couple I guess.

So, anyway, yes I would love to negotiate with Persia. The 25% Jew in me would like nothing more than to spend several days in a damp, dark basement with Madmud Analjibabajab "negotiating".

Well Obama is open to talk with terrorist nations and organizations. I would bet they would love to have a sit down talk with Obama to discuss the latest in Islamic terrorist goals. After all, birds of a feather fly together.
Oh yeah, this reminds me of Obama claiming that his administration would be the administration for womens rights and concerns. Obviously he didnt mean the women of his brotherly muslim countries.

Obama scares me. He proved his unworthiness of our trust when he vowed to run a publicly financed campaign and challenged McCain to do the same. McCain agreed and is going with the $85MM in public campaign funds...Obama has renegged and is going for private funds which, by some accounts, could amount to $300MM or more. What a liar and a loser.
