I am in NO way a football coach, nor do I or have I ever had any experience of the job, however I do watch football on a weeekly basis, and have noticed that there are alot of mistakes that coaches make by leaving in their starting players running a high risk of injury and in some cases a career ending injury by having the starters still playing in the 4th quarter of a game that without a miracle is pretty much a win.
Look back at the Alabama / Florida a couple of years ago when in a game that was pretty much a sealed victory for Bama. Tyrone Prothro was still in a game that he should have never been in after halftime because of the momentum that was in the tides favor. But because of the coaches not wanting to take him out, he suffered a career ending injury and may never play contact sports again ( smart idea ).
Unlike baseball, if a player is taken out of a game he cannot return no matter what the situation, but in football he can. So my point is this; if a team has a commanding lead and they are much likely going to win, why not take the starters out and let the backups play, as it will not only give them gameday experience but will build the team for the future plus they will be rested if they have to return to keep the victory in tact.
I know many of you may be wondering like myself on this, What's the big deal with Sarah Palin's John McCain's running mate's 17 year old daughter being pregnant have to do with getting elected as president or vice president 17 year old daughter being pregnant?
Wait, hold on, hear me out first.
I realize that's not how God said it should be, but is she the first to get pregnant at 17 ? will she be the last ? The answer to those questions is NO !!
If that is such a big deal, then V.P. Dick Chaney should not be the V.P. because his daughter is a lesbian. How is it going to make a difference if McCain gets elected or not or is it going to make a difference on how the country is run. What people do in their PRIVATE life is their own business. That's why it's called PRIVATE, because it's no body else's concern what people do in their PRIVATE life.
I hate when election time rolls around whether it be for the local, state and national elections because it always seems that each candidate tries to find ANY dirt they can against their opponent like it is going to make a hill of beans whether or not you would vote for them in the first place or not.
Another question I'd like to know is, " Why can't every candidate just simply say what they intend to do or how they intend to change the way whatever office they are running for is being ran at the present" ? Everytime a political advertisement comes on the tv, I either mute the tv or change the channel. Why all the mud slinging ?, If you voted for the person in the first election, and they are running again, I would think you would know if they kept their promises of what they said they would do or not. ( I'm NOT talking about Larry, we ALL know what he's NOT doing ).
