Democrats keep talking about change.

Let's recount the changes we have seen in little over a year since the democrats have controlled Congress.

Before this "Change"  this is where we were.

1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.

Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we have seen:

1) Consumer confidence plummet.
2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3.60 a gallon.
3) Unemployment is up to over 5%. (a 10% plus increase)
4) American households have seen over $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate. (stock and mutual fund losses)
5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by at least $1.2 trillion dollars.
6) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.

America voted for change in 2006, and we got it! Imagine what 4 years will do with democrats in control.

Remember it's Congress that makes law, not the President, he has to work with what's handed to him. Democrats will try to spin this but facts are facts.

Quote of the Day........'My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world.  I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it".  Barack Obama.....    What?????

Does America deserve that type of "Change"?

AB- it appears that both Mr. Obama and his wife share the disease of foot-in-mouth syndrome.....OR, they are simply telling the truth and sharing what they really think.

Although the former would appear to be more "pc", I think the latter is more believable; one can only wear the facade for so long, and Mr. Obama's mask is certainly wearing thin......

I think people have forgotten that "change" is not inherently "good". We had nice weather yesterday; it changed - it ain't looking too good for today.

Great point, FB. If I "changed" my hair, depending upon the extent of that "change" would declare whether it was good or bad. If I cut it all off and went bald, I can tell you of a few people who would greatly detest that "change"!

I am a self thinking, non brainwashed, conservative and not politically correct in any way. I believe liberalism, as practiced today, is a dangerous cult that has a sole purpose of destroying our country. The far left media and academia with their Ward Churchill clones are the backbone of this liberalism. They have the power to control the minds of our youth and those easily swayed which they do quiet easily.
