Democrats keep talking about change.
Let's recount the changes we have seen in little over a year since the democrats have controlled Congress.
Before this "Change" this is where we were.
1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.
Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we have seen:
1) Consumer confidence plummet.
2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3.60 a gallon.
3) Unemployment is up to over 5%. (a 10% plus increase)
4) American households have seen over $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate. (stock and mutual fund losses)
5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by at least $1.2 trillion dollars.
6) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.
America voted for change in 2006, and we got it! Imagine what 4 years will do with democrats in control.
Remember it's Congress that makes law, not the President, he has to work with what's handed to him. Democrats will try to spin this but facts are facts.

Does America deserve that type of "Change"?
Why us? Why the USA? Why have we been chosen to protect and provide for the world? Why did we accept the responsibility?
Isn’t it about time that we delegated all or part of that to countries that are as well off or better off than we are?
Why are we still protecting Japan. Korea, most of Europe and a great part of the rest of the world?
Why are we expected to feed the third world countries for eternity?
The Bible states Give a man a fish and you have fed him for a day; Teach a man to fish; And you have fed him for a lifetime.
It seems a lifetime isn’t long enough for them to learn to fish.
We have fed Africa forever it seems and they have become accustomed to handouts, so why should they learn to care for themselves. The only work they do is to unload the free food trucks. Excuse after excuse is getting old in my opinion.
There were two African countries that were self sufficient and actually fed many countries in Africa. South Africa and Rhodesia were well run countries until the natives, with the help of the rest of the world, destroyed them because they were run by intelligent whites.
We see how Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) turned out with millions now starving and inflation running at a million or so percent a month. We are now having to feed them. They used to export food.
I see that the president is now asking congress for $800,000,000 to feed the starving people in Africa. When will this insanity end? You keep a million from starving today and you will have 2 million starving tomorrow. That in itself is cruel.
It will never end until they accept responsibility or Mother Nature takes over.
I feel that we have done way more than our part and now we are hurting at the pump and grocery store. I doubt we can expect help from anyone. We work our tails off to pay for our food and then taxed to feed the ungrateful.
The world will still be screaming that it is our responsibility to care for the world and will continue to hate us whether we do it or not.
I still believe we should help with calamities but charity begins at home.
Your opinion…Have we done our share or should we continue our role as patsy and still be hated around the world?
I suppose most have heard about how the gentleman in Texas removed from the world two of it's lowest of scum. He was talking with 911 reporting that 2 burglars were robbing his neighbor's home when he saw them exiting a window with his neighbors property. As a brave American hero, in my eyes, he went out to stop them. He warned them not to move and when they entered his property. he shot their sorry arses. Neighborly love at it's finest.
Now some sorry liberal bleeding heart criminal lovers want him to be charged with murder. These two were illegals from Columbia with long criminal records. Just think of the crimes these two have committed and would have committed if they hadn't been killed. Some lives were probably saved by this.
I believe this gentleman should be rewarded and praised. I don't know if I would have been as brave as him but I'm glad he did it. We can't count on our liberal justice system, that's for sure. One of these animals had been deported before for serious crimes.
The pendulum should swing back in favor of victims instead of the criminals so the scum will know they can be killed when they do the crime. Just furnish the libs with crying towels.

Today is garbage pick-up day and I have just filled a large bag with road side litter. I have about 1000 ft. of road frontage on a rural road and I'm getting too old to clean up after low class scum.
Drunks, punks, skunks and addicts feel free to clean their vehicles of their garbage anywhere they please
Beer drinkers and smokers seem to be the lowest on the evolution chain since a large portion of the debris is beer containers and cigarette packs.
I wish we would adopt Singapore's law on litter bugging which I believe has something to do with caning. I know they use a cane for some offences. I would love to follow the offenders around as they picked up road side litter and pop them with a cane every time they slowed, then make them sleep in a sty with some of their pig ilk.
I would never throw anything from my vehicle since it is so easy to find a suitable place to deposit it. Only the self centered low class would....
I hope I offended someone so they may think before they toss, if they are capable of self thought.

I've heard it said that a democrat would sell his soul to get all the minority vote and it seems that Nifong did. This low class prosecutor ruined 3 boys lives just to get elected.
How do these boys rebuild their lives after they have been branded as rapists? Just by being found innocent doesn't erase what has happened.
Nifong should be disbarred and sent to prison for a long long term and pay as much civil damages as possible to these boys and their families. The county and /or city should also have to pay a few million.
How do you guys feel about the whole incident?
