Faith in God is good, but experience shows perhaps our elected officials require closer scrutiny.  Here is a point of view, for your consideration.  Our lives are not divided by secular and religious.. many so-called 'secular' things affect the Body!

The view gets clearer with time.  Just as the electric utility is required to purchase any excess electricity we might generate from a personal generation system, then it seems only right that Jefferson County Sewer System should PAY all current private septic system owners for using their systems.  Not only do we own and operate our private septic systems at our own expense, those systems take continuously flowing sewage and disintigrate the solid matter through the use of bacteria, the leach fields remove harmful substances, and return good water to the aquifer/water shed,  through the use of our private real estate.  To date we have been providing our processing services for free!!  It's time that Jefferson County recognize our contribution, and compensate us, and the further it is retroactive, the better!!

Think about this well. When you who have septic systems fail to pay the arbitrary, unjust, repressive sewer system fees (taxes), then what's next? Perhaps a lien on your home, then a quick sale of your home for unpaid balances? Maybe you just won't 'qualify' to get clean water from the water system? Wow, I hope that I'm not really seeing where this is going!

Absolutely not! First the scandalous abuse of the system by those bound to nurture and maintain it, then, after blindly (bribedly?)sending the bonds to an unstable variable interest rate, they expect that we will blindly believe that the fees we pay for clean, fresh, wholesome water somehow don't actually entitle us to get clean water to drink, is ridiculous. It's like saying we are not going to tax your oxygen, you can have all you want... we're only going to tax you when you exhale!!
