Gas prices have been on the rise for a while now, and the rising prices are starting to cause prices to go up on many other things. So, here is the poll question for the day...

If a company charges you more for delivery because of high gas prices, what would you do?

Would you just pay the higher price, shop somewhere else, or maybe something else? Let us know, and don't hold back - your ideas may be used on FOX6 News!

"I believe that items may go up but if a company charged me more for delivery because of gas I would shop else where. I really don't believe that gas sholud effect or prices and I really hope things get back to normal."

I would just pay it. Companies have to cover their costs.

Pizza places have been doing it for a while now. Plus, in the long run, it's a whole easier (as one gets older) to have someone bring it to you thlan yourself. And, if it gets messed up; it's on them, not you.

Prices go up, our pay goes up, if your pay does'nt go up, go back to school, I did at 43 y/o and I am reaping the rewards now. This is just a fact of life. The world owes us nothing, nothinggggg, suck it up and get over it.

Any associated cost of transporting goods will affect the price to the consumer, fuel is just one of many and it seems to be the one that everyone is focused on right now. It's just the cost of doing business. One cannot expect a company to absorb the cost of fuel; they have employees, salaries, benefits that will be affected if they do not raise prices to compensate for the rising cost of fuel.

Fargingbastige, you are correct. Any business or service that does not pass on the cost, will shortly be out of business. Fuel is an expense, therefore, it has to be included in the overall cost of the product.
