The Birmingham Zoo is holding their annual Harry Potter Day July 26th from 1-4 pm. I would appreciate it if this could be added to the community calendar. If you need any more information, please let me know.

Come celebrate JK Rowlings’ birthday with us by coming to Diagon Alley. Now, returning again in 2008, make wands, check out our BOOKS,  take a ride on our magical carousel, get a lightening bolt tattoo, see what's in our muggle mart, stop at the Leaky Cauldron which serves great snacks, and much more. Lots of wizarding folk, and characters you'd expect to find there. Please come dressed as your favorite Harry Potter character. There will be a trivia quiz, chess tourney, games, and more. Plenty for kids, teens, the college crowd, families, singles and senior Harry Potter Die Hard fans. Take some time on July 26th from 1 pm to 4 pm to come to the zoo, meet some other HP fans, and join us and our animal friends for a great birthday celebration.
